The scope of Sweden Pelagic AB is production of chilled, fresh and conserved (marinated, spiced and salted) preprocessed herring and sprat products (packed in drums, plastic buckets and laminated cartons) for the foodindustry and wholesalers. Currently, they process around 15 000 tons of herring per year, and is the largest primary herring producer in Sweden. Products are sold in Sweden and are exported abroad, e.g. to Germany. The company started 1991, and currently has 50 employees.
